TLDR Review: Samsung 65-Inch OLED S95F Smart TV (2025)
Verdict
The **SAMSUNG 65-Inch Class OLED S95F 4K Glare Free Smart TV (2025 Model)** excels in delivering striking picture quality with industry-leading anti-glare performance, making it a stellar pick for bright rooms and those prioritizing eye-friendly, vibrant visuals. However, the premium price and reported software/control box glitches could be a dealbreaker if reliability is top of your list. If you want the same excellent picture but aren’t as concerned about glare or want a more balanced audio experience, consider exploring other Samsung OLED models or LG OLEDs known for smoother software and better built-in speakers. This model shines best when paired with a strong external sound system to complement its sleek design and ultra-clear image.
- Top pro:
- OLED HDR Pro delivers exceptional picture quality with deep blacks, outstanding color accuracy, and a vivid, bright display that feels immersive—almost like looking through a window.
- Top con:
- The price point is on the higher side, making the S95F a premium investment; users not needing advanced anti-glare tech might find better value elsewhere.

Scores
Pros
- •OLED HDR Pro delivers exceptional picture quality with deep blacks, outstanding color accuracy, and a vivid, bright display that feels immersive—almost like looking through a window.
- •The anti-glare matte screen coating works remarkably well, keeping reflections and glare at bay even in bright rooms with multiple windows and curtains open.
- •The TV’s sleek, extremely thin design looks stunning both on and off, and its lightweight build makes handling and installation easier than many other large OLEDs.
- •Sound quality is solid and surprisingly good for built-in speakers, especially when paired with Samsung’s Q-Symphony feature; works best with an external soundbar via eARC for a more cinematic experience.
- •The NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor combined with Motion Xcelerator 164Hz offers smooth motion and upscales content effectively.
- •The rechargeable remote control is a nice convenience, eliminating the hassle of battery replacements.
- •The built-in streaming service provides a decent variety of free channels, including sports, which could reduce the need for paid subscriptions.
- •Samsung Vision AI contributes to an overall smart and responsive user experience.
- •Size options like 65" offer a comfortable, immersive viewing experience suitable for typical living rooms.
Cons
- •The price point is on the higher side, making the S95F a premium investment; users not needing advanced anti-glare tech might find better value elsewhere.
- •Sound quality, while decent, is weaker compared to previous Samsung models, with less bass and a slightly tinny tone due to the ultra-slim design; external audio setups are recommended.
- •Some users experienced a frustrating power cycle issue where the TV repeatedly switches on and off roughly every minute, which appears related to the wired control box and firmware updates.
- •Software updates have been reported to stall or fail (stuck at 99%), complicating troubleshooting.
- •Troubleshooting options for these glitches are limited and often ineffective, raising concerns about product reliability and longevity.
- •Returns or replacements may be complicated due to potential restocking fees and limited customer service flexibility.
- •The TV’s thin and lightweight design, while generally a benefit, may require extra care during assembly and mounting.
- •Some bloatware exists in the streaming apps, and the system can feel locked into Samsung’s ecosystem, which may not appeal to all users.
- •The design includes built-in speakers that some wish Samsung would omit in favor of including a high-end soundbar for a true premium experience.
