TLDR Review: RYOBI ONE+ Stick Vacuum
Verdict
This is a fantastic option if you already own other Ryobi 18V tools and have a heavy duty 4ah battery on hand, since this model comes as a tool-only unit. It really shines on hard floors and pet hair cleanup, but it's not your best bet if you have thick carpeting throughout your home. Just remember that battery choice makes a massive difference here—spring for a 4ah or larger battery and you'll get solid performance; cheap out on a smaller battery and you'll be frustrated with overheating and short runtimes.
- Top pro:
- Excellent at removing pet hair and effectively picks up cat litter debris with powerful suction
- Top con:
- Hair can get caught on the rotating brush

- •Stands upright on its own for convenient storage and battery charging flexibility
- •Operates very quietly on level 1, with only a pleasant whistle-like sound on level 2
- •Easy-to-empty tank with simple filter cleaning and a transparent base panel for quick debris inspection

Cons

- •Smaller 2ah batteries overheat and deplete within approximately 15 minutes—you'll need 4ah or larger heavy duty batteries for optimal performance
- •Weak suction on level 1, with level 2 needed for effective carpet cleaning
- •Noticeable hum from the rotating brush on level 2
