TLDR Review: Royal Sovereign Hand Crank Coin Sorter
Verdict
The Royal Sovereign 1 Row ECO-Friendly Manual Hand Crank Coin Sorter (QS-1) is a solid choice for anyone needing an eco-friendly, power-free solution for sorting coins at home. It operates well for small volumes and casual sorting but requires patience and steady operation to avoid jams. If you have larger sorting needs or require something more robust, you might want to consider a higher-capacity, automated coin sorter.
- Top pro:
- Eco-friendly operation with no need for electricity or batteries.
- Top con:
- Requires patience and can be time-consuming.
Score
The Royal Sovereign QS-1 coin sorter receives a moderate score primarily due to its effective functionality for small volumes of coins and its cost-saving capability compared to store coin machines. Customers appreciate how it simplifies the sorting process, but many note issues with jams, particularly with dimes sorting into penny slots, and inconsistent counts which diminishes its efficiency. While it's a solid option for light users, potential buyers should consider the need for careful handling and monitoring during operation.
