TLDR Review: Roomba s9+
Verdict
The iRobot Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum excels with its powerful suction, efficient navigation, and superior handling of pet hair, offering minimal maintenance thanks to its self-emptying dirt disposal. However, it requires strategic scheduling due to its shorter battery life and struggles in complete darkness. Ideal for users seeking advanced features and strong performance in a smart vacuum cleaner.
- Top pro:
- Excellent navigation and persistent mapping for efficient cleaning.
- Top con:
- Not capable of operating in complete darkness without smart lights.
Score

However, customer reviews highlight significant issues, including technical glitches, navigation problems, and maintenance challenges, particularly with carpets and rugs. While it excels in hard surface cleaning and smart mapping, the inconsistent reliability and high price have led many users to consider alternatives, impacting its perceived value.
