TLDR Review: Roku Remote (Pack of 2)
Verdict
This remote absolutely nails the essentials—it's plug-and-play with zero setup drama, genuinely mirrors the original's functionality, and even throws in a spare. The compact design and excellent voice quality sweeten the deal. However, the weak IR range is a legitimate dealbreaker if you like controlling your TV from across the room, and the build quality can feel cheap with buttons that lack that satisfying tactile feedback. If you're hunting for a backup remote or typically sit relatively close to your TV, this budget option could work. But if range and durability matter to you, it's worth spending a little more for something more robust.
- Top pro:
- No setup required—just insert batteries and you're ready to use immediately

- IR range is noticeably weak compared to the original; you need to be closer to the TV and point at the right angle
