TLDR Review: RockJam 61 Key Keyboard Piano
Verdict
If you’re a beginner or an intermediate player looking for a comprehensive, budget-friendly keyboard kit that includes pretty much everything you need to start playing right now, the RockJam 61 Key Keyboard Piano Stand bundle is a strong contender. It delivers a solid blend of sound quality, portability, and useful learning features, especially with Simply Piano app integration. Just keep in mind you might want to upgrade accessories like the sustain pedal over time and use a tablet for the best app experience. If you're hunting for an alternative with more advanced features or a higher-tier sound engine, this kit is not aimed at professionals but it covers beginner essentials beautifully.
- Top pro:
- This all-in-one kit includes keyboard, stand, bench, headphones, and a sustain pedal, so setting up and playing right away is a breeze.
- Top con:
- The small built-in display doesn’t show learning notes, so you’ll need a tablet or phone for the Simply Piano app, and it can be tricky to follow notes on smaller screens.

Cons
- •The small built-in display doesn’t show learning notes, so you’ll need a tablet or phone for the Simply Piano app, and it can be tricky to follow notes on smaller screens.
- •Some users find the sustain pedal and some accessories on the lower end in quality, so upgrading them may be necessary for more serious practice.
- •The interface has quite a few buttons and features, which can feel overwhelming at first for new users, requiring some time to get comfortable.
- •Headphones included are fine, but certain app functions (like some lessons on Simply Piano) require practicing without headphones, which might confuse beginners.
- •While the sound quality is good, it’s not up to professional-level standards, so serious pianists might want to look elsewhere.
