TLDR Review: Roborock Qrevo Slim Robot Vacuum and Mop
Verdict
The **roborock Qrevo Slim** excels as a versatile robot vacuum and mop combo boasting powerful suction, advanced mapping, and convenient automated mop care — all packed into an ultra-slim design perfect for reaching under furniture. It’s a time-saver for pet owners and multi-level homes looking to reduce manual floor cleaning. However, expect occasional bumps into furniture and challenges with clutter or high-pile carpets, so it’s best suited for mostly open, tidy spaces and those who don’t mind a bit of app tinkering. If you want a smoother navigation experience with top lidar sensing, some other Roborock models offer that but without the ultra-slim profile. Otherwise, this is a reliable, feature-rich choice for effective daily cleaning.
- Top pro:
- Impressively strong suction power (11,000Pa) effortlessly picks up pet hair, small debris, and dust, making it ideal for pet owners.
- Top con:
- Navigation sometimes bumps into furniture and obstacles, which can be a concern for homes with delicate or high-end wood furniture.
Pros
- •Impressively strong suction power (11,000Pa) effortlessly picks up pet hair, small debris, and dust, making it ideal for pet owners.
- •Ultra-slim 8.2cm design lets it clean underneath almost all furniture, improving overall coverage in the home.
- •Advanced 3D sensing and obstacle recognition system effectively navigates and maps rooms, detecting items like cables, bathroom scales, and small rugs with good precision.
- •Auto mop washing and drying feature keeps the mop clean, while mopping leaves floors noticeably cleaner without sogginess.
- •Self-emptying function reduces maintenance and saves time by handling dust disposal automatically.
- •The vacuum’s AI learns your home layout for efficient cleaning routes and can store maps for up to three floors, making it great for multi-level homes.
- •Scheduling and no-go zones through the app work reliably to keep the robot running while you're away and prevent it from entering cluttered or sensitive areas.
- •Quiet operation allows for overnight cleaning without disturbing sleep.
- •FlexiArm side brush improves edge cleaning and the mop function extends cleaning beyond vacuuming alone.
Cons
- •Navigation sometimes bumps into furniture and obstacles, which can be a concern for homes with delicate or high-end wood furniture.
- •The front-facing sensors and cameras, instead of a lidar on top, contribute to occasional misidentifications or collisions.
- •Struggles with high-pile or very thick carpets and may cause motor fatigue over extended use on such surfaces.
- •Needs floors to be relatively free of clutter and cables to avoid tangling or getting stuck; managing this may require frequent no-go zone adjustments.
- •The app has a learning curve and might require tutorials or effort to fully utilize all features.
- •Only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks, which could inconvenience users with exclusively 5GHz setups.
