TLDR Review: Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro
Verdict
The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro is a high-end outdoor security camera packed with advanced features like 3D motion detection, Bird’s Eye View mapping, and powerful floodlights that deliver excellent day and night video quality. It offers a polished app experience and smart home compatibility primarily with Alexa and IFTTT. However, users should be prepared for a potentially tricky hardwired installation, mandatory subscription costs, and occasional WiFi connectivity issues that may impact overall reliability. If you want robust floodlight security integrated into a Ring ecosystem and can manage the wiring plus subscription, this camera performs well. Otherwise, if WiFi stability or broader smart home compatibility like Google Assistant or HomeKit is a priority, you may want to consider alternatives.
