TLDR Review: Ring Battery Doorbell
Verdict
The Ring Battery Doorbell is a solid choice for basic home security with excellent video quality, reliable motion detection, and impressive battery life that won't leave you constantly scrambling for a charger. The setup is genuinely straightforward, and the two-way audio feature is genuinely useful for real-world scenarios. However, keep in mind that if you want to actually *save* your video footage without paying for a Ring subscription, you'll be out of luck—this is a significant limitation worth considering before purchase, especially if cloud storage access is important to you.
