Verdict
The Regalo Easy Step EcsybV Walk Thru Gate offers decent functionality for pet and toddler containment, considering the typical ease of installation and independently functioning pressure pads. However, its lock design, misleading mounting method, and narrow door opening may pose inconvenience and safety issues. If safety and doorway space are paramount concerns, exploring alternatives like the Toddleroo gate, which provides wider access and potentially fewer safety hazards, might be more beneficial.
- Top pro:
- Suitable for off-center installations and various doorway widths, fitting spaces between 29 and 39 inches.

- Gate's lock design is inadequate, posing potential safety risks for children and pets.
