- •Wireless functionality provides freedom of movement during play
- •Responsive buttons and sticks enhance gameplay accuracy and enjoyment
- •Includes grip buttons and an extra button for potential customization

- •Good pairing range and easy connection stability
- •Suitable for both kids and adults, thanks to its ergonomic shape and lightweight design
Cons
- •Regular cleaning needed to prevent sticky buttons, even with light use
- •Joystick drift tends to develop within a month, affecting gameplay precision
- •Durability is questionable; feels somewhat fragile and may not withstand rough handling
- •Build material feels cheap and plastiike, impacting long-term reliability
- •Lacks detailed manual, making configuration of back buttons a challenge
- •Not recommended for lonerm or heavy-duty gaming due to quick wear and malfunctioning
- •Some users find the lighter weight less comfortable for prolonged sessions
- •Potential early failure and frustration despite the attractive appearance
- •The extra grip and middle buttons' functions are unclear, limiting their usability
- •Cheaper than official controllers but may not match their longevity or reliability
Bottom Line
While the PowerA Enhanced Nintendo Switch Controller offers a charming Kirby design, great ergonomics, and customizable features at a lower price point, its quick onset of joystick drift and fragility mean it's better suited for casual or temporary gaming rather than long-term use. If durability and consistent performance matter most, you might want to consider the official Nintendo Switch Pro Controller or the 8bitdo Ultimate Controller, which many users find more reliable for heavy gaming sessions.
