TLDR Review: PlayStation Portal
Verdict
The PlayStation Portal Midnight Black is a top-tier remote play device perfect for dedicated PS5 gamers who want to enjoy their games from different rooms or on the go. Its high-quality display, responsive DualSense features, and seamless connectivity make it a compelling accessory. However, keep in mind that a strong Wi-Fi connection is crucial for the best experience, and it’s not designed to replace a portable handheld console. If you’re seeking a truly portable gaming device independent of your PS5 and with more standalone capabilities, you might want to explore dedicated handheld consoles like the Nintendo Switch OLED or the upcoming Steam Deck.
