TLDR Review: PlayStation 5 Pro 2TB
Verdict
The PlayStation 5 Pro Console - 2TB delivers a solid performance and notable graphics upgrade over the original PS5, making it a great choice if you’re ready to invest in high-end gaming with ample storage and fast load times. However, those without an OLED 120Hz TV might not see the full visual benefits, and the HDMI port instability is a genuine annoyance. If you’re keen on disc-based gaming or upgrading storage often, be prepared for some fiddly repairs or add-ons. Overall, it’s an excellent flagship console with a few quirks to keep in mind before buying.
- Top pro:
- Lightning-fast performance with Wifi 6 and notably quicker game loading times compared to the original PS5.
- Top con:
- The HDMI port reputation is shaky; slight cable movement can cause video cutouts, leading to an unstable connection.
