TLDR Review: Petmate Hooded Cat Litter Pan
Verdict
The Petmate Basic Hooded Cat Litter Pan is an excellent choice for small to medium-sized cats, particularly older or arthritic ones, due to its easy access and sturdy design. While it excels in keeping litter contained and offers good value, it falls short for larger cats, especially those that do not squat when using the box. The swing door may also pose issues, but removing it can improve usability for some cats. If you have a bigger feline friend or one that tends to pee high, you might want to consider a different model or modify the pan for a better fit.
