TLDR Review: Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Protein, Vanilla Ice Cream
Verdict
If you’re after a high-quality whey protein with a creamy and authentic vanilla ice cream flavor, this Optimum Nutrition option delivers substantial servings and solid muscle recovery benefits. However, if you have a sensitive palate for sweetness or prefer easy blending without blender issues, this flavor might test your patience after a few weeks. For a smoother blend and a less sweet taste, you might want to consider Optimum Nutrition’s Double Rich Chocolate flavor instead — it holds a strong reputation for better mixability and more broadly loved taste.
