TLDR Review: OLIGHT IMINI 2 Keychain Flashlight
Verdict
The OLIGHT IMINI 2 EDC Rechargeable Keychain Flashlight is a stellar everyday carry companion that delivers bright, portable, and hands-free lighting exactly when you need it—making it especially well-suited for professionals and anyone who values convenience and reliability in a tiny package. Its magnetic charging and operation are clever and practical, but don’t expect long-distance lighting or multiple modes from this mini powerhouse. If you want a similarly compact rechargeable light but with additional brightness modes or a traditional switch, you may want to explore alternatives. Otherwise, this Dream Blue stunner is a perfect gift or personal essential for quick access, handy illumination.
- Top pro:
- Impressively bright 50-lumen output that easily illuminates close-up tasks and even a dark driveway.
- Top con:
- Light beam is best for close-range tasks and does not project well beyond about 10 feet, limiting usefulness in wider or long-distance illumination.

Cons
- •Light beam is best for close-range tasks and does not project well beyond about 10 feet, limiting usefulness in wider or long-distance illumination.
- •No dedicated on/off switch; light turns on automatically when removed from the magnetic base and off when attached, which can waste battery if left detached accidentally.
- •Very small size can make it easy to misplace or hard to hold securely when detached from its base.
- •Some users might prefer a stronger or more versatile light mode beyond the single bright setting.
- •While water-resistant, it may not be fully waterproof for heavy submersion or extreme weather conditions.
