TLDR Review: NETGEAR Nighthawk RS300 Router
Verdict
The NETGEAR Nighthawk WiFi 7 Router (RS300) is a powerful, feature-rich router that pushes the boundaries of current wireless technology with its ultra-fast speeds and robust device support. It's a top pick for gamers, streamers, and smart home enthusiasts looking for stable, long-term performance and advanced security options like built-in VPN and VLAN segmentation. However, if you own older WiFi devices or want an all-in-one easy app experience for advanced settings, you might find it a little frustrating. Also, WiFi 7 is cutting-edge but still evolving, so the speed boost may be subtle right now. If your priority is rock-solid compatibility with a wider device range and more mature WiFi tech, exploring high-end WiFi 6 routers or mesh systems could be worthwhile. If device compatibility or app management is a big concern, consider looking into other top-tier routers known for simpler advanced setting controls. For now, this Nighthawk RS300 is an excellent candidate for future-proofing your home network with bleeding-edge wireless technology.

Cons
- •The Nighthawk app offers limited functionality; advanced settings such as disabling SSID broadcast or changing WPA security settings require access via a web browser on a computer.
