TLDR Review: Mr Heater Propane Hose
Verdict
The Mr Heater 5-Foot Propane Hose Assembly is a solid, well-constructed accessory that does exactly what it promises: securely connects your propane tank to heaters or stoves for reliable outdoor use. Just keep an eye on how tight you make the connections — too tight can choke your flame, but a slight loosen can fix that perfectly. If you need a longer reach or require connection to larger tanks without adapters, you might want to look elsewhere, but for most standard setups, this hose delivers great value. If you’re after simplicity with proven reliability and don’t mind the 5-foot length, this is a smart buy.
- Top pro:
- Well-made and durable construction ensures long-lasting use.
- Top con:
- The 5-foot hose length may be shorter than some users expect, limiting placement options between the tank and heater.

Cons
- •The 5-foot hose length may be shorter than some users expect, limiting placement options between the tank and heater.

- •Over-tightening can restrict propane flow and cause the flame to shrink initially, which might confuse new users.
- •Some hoses arrived loosely packaged, raising minor concerns about quality control.
- •Adapter needed to connect to certain propane tanks (like 5-gallon) for camp stove compatibility, adding an extra step.
