TLDR Review: Milwaukee 2953-20 Impact Driver
Verdict
The Milwaukee 2953-20 18V Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 1/4'' Hex Impact Driver is a powerhouse for most professional and DIY users, delivering strong torque, excellent control, and convenient cordless flexibility. Just keep in mind you’ll need to factor in the cost of compatible M18 batteries, and there is a notable risk of overheating and occasional lockups over time, which may require warranty service. If you want a tool with great balance, speed, and visibility for a variety of tasks—especially if you’re already invested in Milwaukee’s M18 system—this one’s a solid choice. However, if you need a more durable long-term performer without overheating issues, consider comparing it to other brushless impact drivers known for higher durability.
