TLDR Review: Metabo HPT 18V Trim Router M1808DAQ4
Verdict
The Metabo HPT 18V MultiVolt Cordless Trim Router is a compact, easy-to-use, and reliable tool that impresses with its clean cuts, good control, and excellent value, especially for the price-conscious user who prioritizes portability and precision. It excels in lighter to moderate wood routing tasks but may feel underpowered if you need heavy-duty cutting or longer runtime—those users might want to consider higher-voltage options. Overall, this tool is a solid choice if you want dependable everyday performance with the backing of a lifetime warranty and strong usability features like LED lighting and dust protection. If you’re looking for more power, keep an eye out for higher voltage models from other brands, but for excellent value and all-round control, this Metabo HPT model holds its own.
