TLDR Review: Melissa & Doug Learn-To-Play Piano
Verdict
The Melissa & Doug Learn-To-Play Piano is a charming, durable introduction to music for young children, especially toddlers and early preschoolers who will love its bright colors and engaging play features. However, its small size and occasional key issues mean it might not perfectly suit older or more serious beginners. If you’re looking for a compact, well-built starter piano with a fun learning guide, this is a solid choice to spark early musical interest. For those wanting a piano with more realistic sound or larger size for growing players, exploring other beginner keyboards might be worthwhile.
- Top pro:
- Effectively teaches children piano basics with a fun, hands-on approach.
- Top con:
- The piano is quite small, making it uncomfortable for older toddlers (around 3 years) to play sitting down.
