TLDR Review: Makita XWT18Z Impact Wrench
Verdict
This is a genuine powerhouse for automotive work and stubborn fastener removal—the torque output and battery efficiency we've seen in user feedback are genuinely impressive. The lightweight, ergonomic design makes extended use comfortable, and the detent anvil is a practical feature that does what it's supposed to. The main quirk is that directional switch placement (definitely tricky with gloves on), and it's bulkier than some competitors, but if you're doing serious removal work and need reliable performance, these are minor trade-offs worth making.
