Verdict
The Makita XCV11Z is a handy portable vacuum praised for its compatibility with other Makita products and robust HEPA filtration. However, it falls short on suction power, especially with fine dust, and its performance doesn't entirely meet expectations set by its specs. Perfect for lighter tasks and quick clean-ups, but those in need of powerful suction for fine dust or heavy-duty use might want to consider alternatives if this doesn't meet the mark.
- Top pro:
- Strong HEPA filtration noticeably reduces dust.
- Top con:
- Suction power struggles with fine dust like drywall or concrete.
