TLDR Review: Magpul Hunter 700L Stock
Verdict
The Magpul Hunter 700L Remington 700 Long Action Stock is a solid, no-fuss upgrade that significantly boosts accuracy, ergonomics, and recoil management without permanent rifle modifications. It’s especially great if you want a drop-in stock that feels premium and customizable. However, if you hunt long distances carrying minimal weight or have a highly tapered barrel, be aware of added heft and possible fit issues. For a similar quality stock with potentially different fit characteristics, you might want to keep an eye out for other Magpul options or stocks designed specifically for your barrel profile.
- Top pro:

Cons

- •Concerns about the composite material possibly bending or shifting over time with sling use, temperature variations, and general wear.
- •The one-size-fits-all design may not perfectly accommodate all barrel profiles, suggesting potential need for shims or custom fitting.
