TLDR Review: Little Giant Epic M22 Ladder
Verdict
The Little Giant Epic M22 is a powerhouse multi-position ladder that delivers on versatility, safety, and reaching height needs up to 22 feet. Its innovative safety rails and leveling features make it ideal for professionals and serious DIYers tackling complex projects like roof access, painting, and drywall. However, be prepared for a ladder that’s heavier than average and accompanied by occasional quality control hiccups and less-than-stellar customer service. If you prioritize durability and multi-functionality and can handle the weight, this ladder is definitely worth considering as an all-in-one solution. For those seeking a lighter option or more responsive support, you might want to explore other reputable multi-position ladders, but few match the Epic’s combination of safety features and reach.
- Top pro:
- Combines multiple ladders in one: works as extension, A-frame, step ladder, and scaffold, eliminating the need for several separate ladders.
- Top con:
- The ladder is heavy compared to typical aluminum ladders, which might be a drawback for some users who need frequent mobility.

- •Highly rated by professionals and DIYers alike for durability, safety, and overall utility—many consider it worth the investment.
- •Provides peace of mind, allowing users who are not fully comfortable with heights to work more safely and confidently.
Cons
- •The ladder is heavy compared to typical aluminum ladders, which might be a drawback for some users who need frequent mobility.

- •Customer service experience is mixed to negative, with some reviews calling it unhelpful and reluctant to resolve problems fully.
- •Inconsistencies between advertised accessories (e.g., tool bags) and what is actually included or honored by the company can disappoint buyers.
