TLDR Review: LG UltraGear 39GS95QE-B Monitor
Verdict
The LG UltraGear™ 39GS95QE-B is a gorgeous, ultra-responsive gaming monitor that delivers stunning OLED visuals and a highly immersive curved display with a blistering 240Hz refresh rate. It’s perfect for gamers craving deep blacks and vibrant colors with future-proof performance. However, some trade-offs exist: text sharpness isn’t the best for heavy productivity or reading, and a few users have flagged possible screen reliability concerns. Also, if VRR flicker or burn-in risk worries you, be ready to tinker with settings and usage habits. Overall, this monitor shines for immersive, high-end gaming but may not be the best for text-heavy workflows or those wanting flawless long-term durability. For gamers looking for a similar ultrawide experience without OLED burn-in concerns, keep an eye out for alternative LG or competitors' high-refresh curved LED monitors, but few match the gorgeous picture quality here.
- Top pro:

- Top con:
- Resolution (3440x1440) may result in less sharp text clarity on this large 39-inch screen, making extensive reading or detailed text work less comfortable.
