TLDR Review: LG OLED77G5WUA TV
Verdict
The LG 77-Inch OLED evo G5 is a premium choice for anyone seeking cutting-edge picture quality, especially in bright rooms, combined with a stylish, ultra-thin design and top-tier gaming features. Its next-gen AI enhancements and long warranty bolster its value, though buyers should plan for wall mounting and possibly invest in high-quality HDMI 2.1 cables and an external remote if desired. If you want a similarly feature-rich LG OLED but in a smaller size or with a built-in stand, you might consider browsing LG’s CX or C2 series as alternatives. Overall, this TV sets a high bar for 2025 OLEDs with its balance of brightness, contrast, and smart functionality.
- Top pro:
- Stunning OLED evo display delivers vibrant, rich colors with excellent clarity even in dark scenes.
- Top con:
- Does not include a stand; requires separate purchase of a VESA-compatible universal mount or wall bracket for table placement.

Cons
- •Does not include a stand; requires separate purchase of a VESA-compatible universal mount or wall bracket for table placement.

- •Best experience with certain content requires specific setup through Apple TV 4K (e.g., native 4K SDR with matching frame rates).
- •Requires HDMI 2.1 (or higher quality) cables for optimal performance, which may be an additional expense.
- •Built-in UI is functional but some users find it less intuitive unless paired with an Apple TV remote.
- •Smaller related size options (under 77") might be preferable for some room setups, given this model’s very large 77-inch footprint.
