TLDR Review: LG 65-Inch OLED evo G5 Smart TV (2025)
Verdict
If jaw-dropping picture quality and a large, immersive screen are your top priorities, the LG 65-Inch OLED evo G5 Series is a fantastic pick for 2025. Just be prepared to deal with the missing table stand—meaning you’ll either need to wall-mount it or buy a separate stand—and consider upgrading your audio setup since the built-in speakers aren’t powerhouse performers. Also, if you depend heavily on built-in cable provider apps, this might not be the smoothest experience. Overall, for stunning visuals and smart features like Alexa built-in, this TV shines brightest with an external sound system to back it up.
- Top pro:
- Significant improvement in picture quality over previous LG models, delivering vibrant colors and sharpness that truly stand out.
- Top con:
- No table stand included—only a wall mount—which has caused frustration and inconvenience; some buyers faced significant hassle, even considering returns.
