TLDR Review: LaView 4MP Bulb Camera
Verdict
This bulb camera impresses with its clear picture quality, intuitive app, and reliable WiFi connectivity—users genuinely like it enough to buy multiple units. However, you absolutely need to know that the motion detection is frustratingly unreliable with excessive false alerts, and despite the outdoor marketing, it's not truly waterproof and won't survive direct rain exposure. The paid cloud storage requirement and dim light output are also worth considering. If you're willing to work around these limitations and primarily use SD card storage, it's a solid addition to your smart home setup, but if you need dependable motion detection for legitimate outdoor security, you might want to keep shopping around.
