TLDR Review: Kaytee Squirrel and Critter Blend
Verdict
The Kaytee Squirrel and Critter Blend is a great choice for those who want to keep local squirrels and small wildlife happy and away from bird feeders. However, for those who prefer a ready-to-use pack, it’s important to store it carefully to maintain its freshness. This blend may not suit every animal’s preference out of the box, so consider supplementing with other food types if necessary.
- Top pro:
- Reliable for attracting squirrels and various backyard critters, keeping them occupied and away from bird feeders.
- Top con:
- A picky layout could find some of the food, such as peanuts or corn, less preferred by different animals.
Score
The Kaytee Squirrel and Critter Blend receives a moderate score, celebrated for its appeal to a variety of wildlife, including squirrels and birds, who thoroughly enjoy the mix. However, multiple reviews highlight a significant issue with the high corn content, which many animals tend to avoid, leading to waste and dissatisfaction, particularly concerning its value for money.
