TLDR Review: John Deere Mulch Cover GY00115
Verdict
If you own a John Deere mower with a 42" deck and want a reliable, genuine mulching cover, this original equipment mulch cover (#GY00115) fits perfectly and offers great mulching performance with minimal fuss. Installation is fairly simple after you remove the old cover, but be prepared to occasionally check that it stays in place during mowing, as the design may allow some slippage. Overall, this cover cuts down lawn cleanup time and gives a neat finish, making it a solid choice for John Deere mower owners looking for OEM assurance and durability.
