TLDR Review: Jiffy Seed Starting Mix
Verdict
The Jiffy 12 qt. Organic Seed Starting Mix falls short for delicate seeds, struggles with mold, and has poor water retention. While it shows promise when amended with additional nutrients, these modifications reduce its cost-effectiveness. For those dealing with mold or water retention issues, exploring alternative seed starting mixes might be justified. We find it advisable to consider other products with a better track record for seedling success, especially if working with delicate seeds.
