Verdict
The HOBART Pillar Series Helmet offers an affordable and convenient option for beginners, with features like auto-darkening and a lightweight design. However, concerns have been raised about the shade level not providing adequate eye protection. If eye protection is your top priority, you may want to consider a helmet with adjustable shade control as an alternative. Despite this, the helmet overall provides good value with its high-quality construction and functionality.
