TLDR Review: Hisense 85" QD7 4K Smart Fire TV (2025)
Verdict
If you’re after a giant 85-inch mini-LED TV with stunning 4K picture, deep color thanks to QD technology, and the convenience of Fire TV with Alexa built in, the Hisense 85QD7QF is a strong value proposition. Its native 144Hz refresh rate and Game Mode Pro make it great for gaming and fast-motion content, while Dolby Vision and Atmos enhance home theater vibes. However, the remote control is a major point of frustration that has led to real headaches for many buyers, including scarce replacements and support complications. If remote usability is non-negotiable for you, it’s worth holding out for a model with a more reliable remote solution or considering alternatives. *We* recommend confirming current availability of replacement remotes through Hisense before purchasing, and suggest trying this TV in person if possible to test the remote feel firsthand.
- Top pro:
- The Hisense 85" QD7 Mini-LED TV delivers vibrant colors and crisp, clear images with impressive overall picture quality, including excellent HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support.
- Top con:
- The remote control’s navigation ring frequently sticks or becomes unresponsive, severely impacting usability for many users, with no easy fix despite resets or battery changes.
