TLDR Review: Hefty Blue Trash Bags
Verdict
If you want a reliable, no-leak 13-gallon trash bag that’s especially great for recycling and sorting, Hefty Blue Trash Bags deliver impressive convenience with their drawstring and strong-but-tear-friendly plastic. However, if you need ultra-thick durability for heavy kitchen waste, you might experience occasional tearing. For higher durability needs, consider looking into premium heavy-duty kitchen bags, but for everyday recycling and light kitchen use, these bags offer solid value in a convenient 60-pack.
- Top pro:
- Fits standard 13-gallon kitchen cans perfectly with no leaks, making disposal hassle-free
- Top con:
- Some users find the bags thinner than expected compared to other brands, causing occasional tearing or developing holes under average kitchen loads
