TLDR Review: Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2
Verdict
The Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 73sv is a seriously capable chartplotter that anglers and boaters consistently praise for its reliability, accuracy, and fishing-focused features like side scan and contour mapping. If you're comfortable with the learning curve on interface navigation and either have professional installation planned or DIY skills to spare, this unit checks all the boxes for those who want a quality upgrade. Just know that this is a more complex piece of equipment than casual users might expect—but that complexity comes with the kind of feature depth that'll have you wondering how you ever fished without it.
