TLDR Review: Galaxy A36 5G
Verdict
The Samsung Galaxy A36 5G 2025 is a solid, value-packed midrange phone with a beautiful AMOLED screen, speedy performance, and strong camera capabilities—perfect as a reliable daily driver or for international travelers needing dual SIM. However, if you rely on Verizon or AT&T as your primary US carrier, you might hit compatibility snags that will require extra effort or another model with confirmed support (look for those ending in U1 for AT&T compatibility). Overall, it’s a well-rounded unlocked phone for users who want robust features without the flagship price.
- Top pro:
- Excellent 6.7" 120Hz AMOLED display providing vibrant colors and smooth visuals.
- Top con:
- Limited SD card expansion due to shared SIM tray slot; cannot use SD card and dual SIM simultaneously.

- •Initial setup may require carrier assistance or be time-consuming for SIM activation depending on provider.
- •Occasional restarts are suggested for optimal performance, which might be a slight inconvenience.
- •Some users noted confusion between official Android version shipped versus updates available (Android 15 vs 16).
