TLDR Review: Fujinon XF18-135mm Lens
Verdict
The Fujinon XF18-135mm F3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR is a versatile and well-built lens ideal for photographers seeking a single-lens solution for various shooting scenarios. Its robust weather-sealed design and excellent image stabilization make it a go-to for outdoor and handheld photography. While it comes with some limitations in terms of its maximum aperture and edge sharpness, its overall performance and build quality offer good value, especially for those using Fujifilm's X-series cameras. If you seek a more affordable alternative with similar features, consider looking into prime lenses, but be mindful that you might compromise on versatility.
- Top pro:

- Top con:
- Somewhat limited maximum aperture of f/3.5-5.6, which may not be ideal for low-light situations.
Score
The Fujinon XF 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR lens receives a moderate overall score as it offers strong center sharpness and robust build quality, appealing particularly in adverse weather conditions due to its weather-resistant design. However, it suffers from inconsistent edge sharpness and focuses hunting in low light, leaving some users wishing for faster primes instead. While its versatility makes it a good all-around option, there are better-performing alternatives available in its price range.
