TLDR Review: Fire TV Cube (Refurbished)
Verdict
The Certified Refurbished Fire TV Cube is a powerhouse streaming device that delivers remarkably smooth performance, excellent 4K HDR picture quality, and ultra-convenient Alexa voice control — all while being easy on your wallet compared to a brand-new unit. However, if you’re a live sports fanatic who relies heavily on apps like MLB TV, take note that app availability may be a sticking point here. For those users looking for broader sports app support or who want a simpler, plug-and-play experience, exploring other streaming devices might be wise. Otherwise, if you want a feature-packed, speedy, and highly capable streaming hub that can upgrade your TV setup in style, this refurbished Fire TV Cube is a smart buy.
- Top pro:
- Smooth, responsive performance that far exceeds typical Fire TV Sticks, with strong hardware and minimal buffering
- Top con:
- Initial setup can be time-consuming and somewhat confusing, with some users spending up to two hours getting everything configured
