TLDR Review: Everbilt Closet Pole Sockets
Verdict
Based on our customer reviews, these sockets are seriously heavy-duty performers that excel at supporting demanding loads traditional options can't handle. The trade-off? You'll deal with a slightly tricky installation thanks to that thick lip design—but that's honestly what makes them so sturdy in the first place. With a 4.7-star rating and customers willing to repurchase, this is solid hardware for anyone willing to spend a few extra minutes during setup. Just accept that some paint will chip on those screws; it's cosmetic only and won't impact performance one bit.
- Top pro:
- Supports heavy loads (curtains, coats, jeans, sweaters) that spring-loaded alternatives cannot handle
- Top con:
- Paint on the screws chips off during installation, though it's purely cosmetic and doesn't affect functionality

- •Supports heavy loads (curtains, coats, jeans, sweaters) that spring-loaded alternatives cannot handle
- •Maintains structural integrity under sustained heavy daily use without fatigue or wear
- •Securely holds poles up to 1 5/16 inches in diameter with no visible wear

Cons
