TLDR Review: Everbilt Adjustable Aluminum Dryer Duct
Verdict
The Everbilt Adjustable Solid Aluminum Dryer Duct offers a space-saving solution but falls short in quality and installation ease. Its flimsy construction, air leaks, and necessity for additional materials like duct tape and clamps make it a less desirable choice for those seeking a reliable and straightforward dryer duct. For DIY enthusiasts or those willing to invest extra effort and materials, it can serve its purpose, but otherwise, considering a sturdier alternative might save you frustrations.
- Top pro:

- •Can be modified to fit smaller spaces with simple tools like tin snips.
Cons
- •Construction is thin and flimsy, with weak tack welds that break easily.
- •Significant air leaks and heat loss without extensive sealing with duct or foil tape.
- •Installation process is difficult and time-consuming, often needing additional materials.
- •Mounting flange and collars are too short, making standard installation challenging.
- •Numerous sharp edges present a safety risk during handling.
- •Seams have gaps allowing lint to escape and exhaust fumes to leak.
- •Adjustable mechanism is ineffective, as the duct may slide back inadvertently.
- •Overall quality perceived as poor, especially given the price.
