TLDR Review: ecobee Smart Sensor 2 Pack
Verdict
The ecobee Smart Sensor for Doors & Windows offers excellent temperature and security enhancements when integrated correctly with the ecobee ecosystem. However, its value is diminished by the reliance on a subscription service and limited compatibility outside this ecosystem. Buyers who are heavily invested in smart home technology or ecobee products will likely benefit the most, while others may want to consider alternatives that do not require a subscription for full functionality.
