TLDR Review: DUDE Wipes - Shea Butter
Verdict
DUDE Wipes offer a plush, natural-feeling alternative to standard wipes with beneficial ingredients like shea butter and aloe, making them a solid choice for sensitive skin and daily hygiene—*if you don't flush them*. However, the major red flag is their poor flushability; over 50% of users report plumbing issues, despite the "flushable" and "septic safe" marketing. We strongly recommend using these wipes as non-flushable personal hygiene wipes to avoid costly clogs. If you’re specifically looking for a truly septic-safe and biodegradable flushable wipe, you might want to explore other brands that have stronger backing on that claim before committing.
- Top pro:
- Made with all natural, plant-based ingredients and 99% water, these wipes are gentle and alcohol-free, minimizing irritation risks.
- Top con:
- Despite marketing claims, these wipes are not truly flushable; multiple reviews warn they cause serious septic and sewer clogs.

Cons
- •Despite marketing claims, these wipes are not truly flushable; multiple reviews warn they cause serious septic and sewer clogs.
- •Users report that these wipes do not break down well, leading to expensive plumbing issues even in new septic systems.
- •Some users with sensitive skin experienced discomfort after prolonged use, possibly due to chemical ingredients despite the natural claims.
- •Fragile packaging may lead to damage or leaks during transport if not handled carefully.
- •Limited number of wipes per pack (144 wipes over 3 packs) may feel insufficient for heavy users.
- •Some complain about the wipes causing irritation after about a week of daily use.
- •The flushability issue contradicts the “septic safe” label, creating confusion and potential costs.
