Verdict
The DeWalt DWA1180 Black and Gold Drill Bit Set offers excellent value with its high-quality drill bits, which are fantastic for woodwork and certain metals. However, the case design can be cumbersome, and performance on metal, particularly aluminum and plastic, is lacking. If you need drill bits primarily for wood and mild steel and appreciate a durable case that works well with other Dewalt products, it's a great choice. Otherwise, if you anticipate a lot of work on metals, you might want to consider alternatives with better performance like older Black & Decker bits.
