TLDR Review: DEWALT ATOMIC DCF809B Impact Driver
Verdict
The DEWALT ATOMIC 20V MAX* Impact Driver (DCF809B) is a compact powerhouse that excels for household projects, automotive repairs, and general driving tasks, especially where space is tight. It combines solid torque, comfort, and portability with DEWALT’s trusted durability. While it lacks multiple speed settings and can’t tackle ultra-hard concrete, it’s a reliable go-to for everyday use and offers excellent value for the price. If you need more speed or very heavy-duty concrete drilling, consider pairing it with complementary DEWALT tools or exploring heavier-duty impact drivers, but for most users, this one hits the sweet spot.
