TLDR Review: DEWALT 20V MAX Battery Pack
Verdict
If you’re looking for **long-lasting, reliable 20V MAX DEWALT batteries** for light to moderately demanding jobs, this double pack offers solid performance and compatibility across many DEWALT tools. However, beware that the listing falsely markets these as XR models, and some users report quality control issues with one battery failing to function. If authenticity, durability under heavy or specialized use (like weed eaters), or a better price is a priority, you might want to explore other DEWALT battery options or brands known for stronger heavy-duty resilience. Overall, this pack is a decent choice but not without its compromises.
- Top pro:
- The batteries provide long-lasting power, with some users reporting one battery lasting about five years under heavy residential use.
- Top con:
- Only one of the two batteries worked reliably for some users, raising concerns about product quality.
