TLDR Review: DEWALT 20V MAX Battery Double Pack
Verdict
If you need reliable, compact DEWALT 20V MAX batteries for general use—especially drilling, driving, or lighter outdoor tasks—this 2.0Ah double pack is a solid, trustworthy choice. However, if your projects demand longer runtimes or more power-hungry tools, consider a higher capacity 5.0Ah battery for less downtime and better endurance. For those looking for a little extra juice, a 20V/5Ah battery pack might be the smarter investment to keep you powered through the toughest jobs.
- Top pro:
- Batteries are confirmed genuine by the manufacturer despite non-original packaging, so no worries there.
- Top con:
- Battery life isn’t ideal under heavy, continuous load and may drain faster than desired.

- •Having extra small batteries on hand is useful, implying one pack might not be enough for big jobs.
