The Cobra RAD 480i Laser Radar Detector is praised for its effective radar and laser detection features, with the extra benefits of an intuitive app for real-time updates. While it offers good value and is recommended for avoiding tickets, potential buyers should be aware of its struggles with false alerts and the app's high power demands. Users who prioritize stability may want to consider alternative mounting solutions to address the issues with the included mount. The device provides competitive performance similar to more expensive detectors, making it a strong choice for those looking for efficiency without breaking the bank.
