TLDR Review: Celestron Zoom Eyepiece 8mm-24mm
Verdict
The Celestron Zoom Eyepiece is a versatile addition to any telescope, offering a broad zoom range suitable for various astronomical observations. - Top pro:
- Versatile zoom range of 8mm-24mm offers flexibility for low power and high power viewing.
- Top con:
- Twist barrel zoom mechanism may not be as smooth as fixed focal length eyepieces.
Score
The Celestron Zoom Eyepiece receives a moderate score, praised for its versatility and optical clarity, particularly for casual stargazing and simplifying the viewing experience by eliminating multiple eyepieces. However, some users report issues with distortion, fit, and a lack of click stops for focal length adjustment, which can detract from the overall experience.
