TLDR Review: Canon PowerShot SX740 HS
Verdict
The Canon PowerShot SX740 HS offers a compelling mix of compactness, powerful zoom, and 4K video capability wrapped in an easy-to-use package with a solid value bundle. It’s a great option if you want better quality photos than your phone can provide and appreciate selfie-friendly features and wireless convenience. However, if you need razor-sharp autofocus and editable RAW files for creative control, this camera might feel a bit limiting and occasionally frustrating. For those seeking more precise focus performance or advanced photo format options, considering a higher-end compact or mirrorless camera could be worthwhile. Still, if you want a straightforward, portable camera to capture sharp 4K video and versatile zoom shots with minimal fuss, this one deserves a close look.
